Sewing Classes for Kids and Teens in Doral, FL
Petite Designers Sewing & Fashion program in Doral offers children ages 7-15 an extensive curriculum that teaches them numerous sewing techniques and fashion concepts. From beginner to intermediate to advanced levels, our sewing and fashion curriculum covers many beautiful garments that children sew for themselves or their loved ones. Each new sewing project builds on the previous one, repeating what children already learned and adding a new technique to their skillset.
On their way from a little pincushion to jogger pants to a denim jacket, children hem pants and skirts, add patch pockets and sew in side pockets, attach sleeves and hoods, use decorative ruffles, and sew in zippers.
Our sewing and fashion design classes for kids in Doral cover the basics of color theory and technical sketching. They introduce measurements and the beginning of garment construction while students work with the patterns and learn how to adjust them for their needs.
